The board of a South Florida college is appealing a judge's ruling temporarily blocking officials from giving away a parcel of prime Miami real estate so it can be used for President Donald Trump's future presidential library.

Lawyers for voter advocacy groups and campaigns for Medicaid expansion and recreational marijuana appeared before a federal judge in Tallahassee Tuesday. It is their latest attempt to carve away at a law that they argue unconstitutionally hamstrings citizens鈥� abilities to amend Florida鈥檚 constitution.

The proposals would repeal the state鈥檚 red flag law and prevent people under the age of 21 from buying a rifle.
