A new exhibition at P茅rez Art Museum Miami didn鈥檛 begin with the idea of a collector lending paintings to a museum. It began with a realization.

The exhibition aims to reconcile the athlete鈥檚 arena and the artist鈥檚 studio and serves as a reminder that whether someone wears a jersey or a museum wristband, the quest for excellence remains the same.

There鈥檚 no age limit to making art. But sometimes there are limits to what art programs are available 鈥� especially for older adults. The Perez Art Museum Miami has an answer to that with its Creative Aging series.

The P茅rez Art Museum Miami suspended plans to exhibit 鈥淜ehinde Wiley: An Archaeology of Silence,鈥� after several people came forward with sexual-assault allegations against the famed artist.

Much of the artwork at P茅rez Art Museum Miami鈥檚 latest exhibition, 鈥淕ary Simmons: Public Enemy,鈥� is about what 鈥� or who 鈥� you don鈥檛 see.

The donation was announced Saturday night during PAMM鈥檚 Art of the Party gala, the museum鈥檚 biggest annual fundraiser where P茅rez and his wife Darlene were honored.

Jason Seife's first solo show, 鈥淐oming to Fruition," is at the Perez Art Museum Miami. His style honors his Cuban and Syrian parents.

The installation, by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, has opened to the public at P茅rez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). The exhibit is on display until February 2024.

鈥淭he Artist as Poet: Selections from PAMM鈥檚 Collection鈥� delves into the time period of the 鈥淧o猫me-Objet鈥� (poem-object), a very particular moment in the 1930s and 鈥�40s where Surrealist artists used found objects and mixed them with text. The exhibition opens March 25 at the P茅rez Art Museum Miami.
