Lip service is created by Andrea Askowitz and Esther Martinez

The award-winning lip service now in its eighth year. And anyone can submit a true story, not just locals. One nun flew to Miami from Guatemala to read her 8-minute composition. Others have been pole-dancers, fed-ex drivers, in-the-shower singers and grandads. But lip service isn鈥檛 haphazard. There鈥檚 editing and lively rehearsals before the performances. Lip Service marks its 8 year anniversary with readings from by Andrea Askowitz, Esther Martinez-Kenniff, and Nicholas Garnett. and lip service, Tuesday at 1pm.

Richard Ives

Richard Ives came to SA国际传谋 in September 2000 to begin a new career in radio. Born in Fort Lauderdale, his family moved to Long Island, New York, where he grew up. After graduation from college and an unsatisfying stint in a job that, as he puts it, "paid the bills but for which I had no passion" he found himself contemplating a midlife career change after being laid-off.
