Miami Art Week is a showcase for the city鈥檚 visual artists, but a Design District gallery is taking a more musical approach to mark the occasion.
On Thursday at , several volunteer singers and local choirs will perform 100 versions of 鈥淢y Country, 鈥橳is of Thee,鈥� which debuted in 1831 and has since been re-written throughout the years.
Chicago-based artist compiled those versions in her artist book 鈥淎merica: A Hymnal,鈥� the main work in her solo exhibit 鈥淭he Litany.鈥�
The performance runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit runs until Jan. 26.
