South Florida is on the verge of moving to Phase 2 of reopening from COVID-19 restrictions, Gov. Ron DeSantis said Wednesday.
Citing 鈥渟ignificant downward trends鈥� in coronavirus cases, the governor said he is discussing the move with all three counties 鈥� Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade.
鈥淚鈥檓 not saying I鈥檓 going to do it today or we鈥檙e gonna do it tomorrow. ...[But] these are sustained trends at this point and I think that that鈥檚 a good thing,鈥� he said.
